Breathable Light Deprivation Cover
The most common characteristic of a breathable light dep cover is its thick, layered fabric. This product is woven/sewn in a way that does not allow light to penetrate. Of all the light deprivation products listed, it is the most expensive. This product cannot be used outdoors as it can trap moisture and accumulate mold.

Pros: Breathable fabric allows airflow to plants, may reduce excessive heat and humidity buildup
Cons: Higher price per sqft, and not designed for outdoor use.
BOLD® Light Deprivation Cover
The most common characteristic of BOLD® light dep covers is that it totally blocks light, is UV resistant, and is heat reflective. This product does not have any pinholes or perforations and is scrim-reinforced for superior strength. BOLD® light deprivation covers can also withstand both hot and cold temperatures, ranging from -70° to 180°F. The white layer contains UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers, and the black layer contains carbon black to enhance outdoor life and ensure total light deprivation.
